Food Microbiology - Testing
Our food microbiology team has both laboratory and factory knowledge enabling us to understand the pressures that are placed on food producers and manufacturers when it comes to food testing and food factory hygiene.
With continued investment in the Kiestra Lab Automation system, ILS has been able to further enhance its high level of testing, providing an efficient, responsive and friendly service allowing us to support the demands placed upon your business.
Our food microbiology department routinely test 7,000 samples a week for a wide range of bacteria and pathogens. The majority of our testing is covered by our UKAS Accreditation, although not exclusively to this scope, we are also M&S and DEFRA Approved. In addition to this, we can be flexible and work to your preferred methods.
Open 7 days a week and offering a sample collection service (dependent upon location and subject to a minimum number of samples), the food microbiology department is geared up to work in 'real time' with the food industry.
